And nothing tastes as good as that first beer on Sunday morning
Except the sacred shot it chases down

We may not share the Blood of the Lamb
But the Bloody Marys are fine

Attention’s rapt as ESPN prophets predict the games
We’ve made our bets and laid our money down
And soon the congregation’s united in solemn prayer
Please God let my teams win and beat the spreads
